Well placed in Hall 4.0, Green Hippo was only a short stroll away from the Martin stand, featuring a Hippotizer Amba as the playback device for their integrated P3 software and LED fixtures. Hippotizer was also used on the Kinesys for automation tracking and BlackTrax stands.
The BlackTrax integration was a true crowd pleaser showing real-time motion tracking on freely rotating and moving cube and picture frames, with multiple inputs for on-the-fly project, all running on the new v4.1 software release.
Updates included the all new PixelMapper engine, making Hippotizer an un-paralleled tool for mapping video to DMX lighting fixtures, supporting hundreds of universes of Art-Net3, sACN and KiNet fixtures as well as myriad colour systems such as RGB, RGBAW, CMY. An update for SHAPE 3D Mapping; the easy to use projection mapping toolset that makes Hippotizer V4 at home on the most complex 3D projects at the press of a button, and components such as MultiController, Media Manager, DMX and CITP.
New products from the Hippotizer v4.1 range entered the game with the launch of the demo software, Hippotizer PLAY, giving users the opportunity to dive straight into the software as well as the new laptop based solution, the Hippotizer V4 Portamus, bringing users power and portability, two attributes rarely found in a media server. Designed around the same feature set of its bigger family members, Hippotizer Portamus which runs on a MacBook Pro holds all the tools necessary to perform world class events with all the well-loved Hippotizer V4 features.
Green Hippo distributors including Andras Pollé from Interlight, Alex Mair of Lexair Entertainment, Stig Meyer Jensen of Light Partner and Paris Anagnostopoulos from Division were all active on the stand and a pleasure to see as always. Green Hippo says a big thank you to all who visited and we will see you next year!
