Psy and his creative team have chosen Hippotizer Media servers for his last few major stage events. For his concerts and stage tours, Psy likes to have creative control, bringing a blend of video, lighting and special effects together to give his audience the ‘wow’ factor.
The latest of these was “PSY ALL NIGHT STAND 2014 “a special Christmas concert at the end of 2014. This took place at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. The idea was to make it a fantastic visual performance with vivid colours and animations, a ‘Crazy Christmas special’ that lasted 3 hours.
The creative team used a Hippotizer V3 with Genlock to control the Huge LED screens that were spread across the entire stage. Using 4 outputs and synced over HippoNet the creative team were able to play a total of 23 videos all machine controlled by a Grand MA2 with Timecode SMPTE.
PSY and his team were really happy with the results and are busy planning their next visual extravaganza and stage show knowing that the Hippotizer Media Servers will rise to the challenge.
