Green Hippo in partnership with Kinesys is offering a two day, hands-on Automation Masterclass. This course is essential for anyone who wants to explore integrating moving elements with Hippotizer.
The Automation Masterclass is a unique opportunity to learn about automation in Hippotizer taught by Green Hippo’s product specialists. And, thanks to Kinesys, there is a fully equipped demo room complete with chain motors, trolleys, rotators and truss to practice on.
The class will be held over two days, beginning with a classroom component covering everything from connecting to an automation system to visualising and pre-programming your show. Afterwards the group will move into Kinesys’s demo room where students will work with actual hardware to practice object alignment, parenting and automation scripting.
We will be using Kinesys Vector and K2 motor control systems throughout the course for 2D and 3D motion control and a variety of chain motors and trolleys suspending projection screens, truss and video panels for a wide variety of experiences.
No prior knowledge of Kinesys or automation systems is required, though a good understanding of Hippotizer and basic SHAPE 3D Projection Mapping functions is strongly recommended to get the most out of this course.
Lunch, tea and coffee will be provided in addition to all required course equipment and materials.
